It was one of those moments where I actually practiced self control and didn't explode like I wanted to and just said "Ok."
No judge in their right mind is going to side with someone who rented us the "apartment" without telling us the building was going into foreclosure. Neither Christine or myself would have signed that lease if we had known. Her public court records show the foreclosure started in February of 2012. We did not move in until July 2012.
Omitting the truth to get us to sign a contract...nice.
And that is just the start of the long list of stuff against her and the apartment.
And that will be the last of my talking about that old hellhole.
We are done with that place and that bog troll of a woman.
Moving forward.
I decided to put my incubator project on hold. I am going to tinker with my current one and see if I can make it more efficient. I will worry about a bigger one when I need a bigger one.
Cant wait for baby snakes.

She does understand she has to pay to go to small claims court correct?
Just keep doing what you are doing. Do not respond to her texts, phone calls, etc. Do not talk to her at all anymore. You have the PO box.
You handled the situation perfectly.
