The landlord texted me asking if we would stay if she lowered the rent. I politely told her thank you for the kind gesture, but the new place is an opportunity we cannot decline. I told her that a lot of stuff hit me at the beginning of the month (Eddie and the vet stuff, Christine's car)
She then proceeded to try to guilt us into staying.
"Yeah me too, now that u guys are leaving after u told me u would be here for awhile. I would have just walked from my house if it wasn't for u guys."
Wow. Just wow.
Well, I have that saved as a text message, so...I am sure that will come in handy if I need it.
