I had another one of those moments this morning.
Back story...I was asked to cover 7am-10am (stupid fucking 3 hour shift) so I agreed because I need money.
I get there at 7am and Gary tells me the kitchen is locked and he can't put out coffee. As he is telling me...5 guests pour down the stairs looking for coffee...
Ugh.
So I grab the two small coffee makers from the housekeeping closet, and start making coffee. I tell them it will be couple minutes. AS it is brewing, one of them comes out to ask about the coffee..I tell her AGAIN it will be a few minutes.
Then she needs a bowl...then a plate...all shit that is in the LOCKED kitchen...but luckily I find the old foam and paper ones we had and put some out.
Finally that settles down and a guy calls me complaining about the reservation he tried to make with Laura yesterday but couldn't because she doesn't actually know the computer system...
so I take care of his reservation and he is all happy...
Either way...for a 3 hour shift it was fucking obnoxious...
so the moment I had was when I got "home." I use quotations because we are leaving at the end of June, so it's not even really home anymore...
I was sitting in my car...and I looked at my gas tank and thought "I have half a tank of gas...and $360 in my bank account. I could go upstairs...back a bag of clothes, grab a couple things...grab my cat...and just drive away..."
And I honestly considered it for a second. I am just sick of this life...
