Went to the clinic today because I still feel like shit.
The doctor didn't argue that I needed to be treated for Lyme since I had flu like symptoms, and work around ticks...but she did want to make sure the nausea wasn't me losing blood from my stomach due to aspirin and ibuprofen...
and there is only one way to check that...
That's right...I had my first rectal exam today.
I'm old.
Got my meds though. Doxy for the Lyme and something else because she thinks the aspirin and ibuprofen cut up my stomach lining. Fun fun fun.

So, um, congrats on having your cherry popped? We have lots of nasties in Australia but I think there's never been a confirmed case of Lyme here. It sounds nasty!
