so my best friend of 15 years told me today he's moving to Barcelona in 2 months.
Yes...Barcelona, Spain.
His sister lives out there and invited him to go see how he likes it. Compared to shitsville, CT...I know he won't come back.
That leaves me with 2 people to hang out with. One I never see due to him being married and having a kid...and one who is busy due to a business prospect he is trying.
So I am debating saying fuck it and moving to Colorado.
Why? One of my best friends moved out there like 2 years ago. He says it's awesome out there. I've seen pics. It looks nice. Lots of stuff to hunt, cheap houses, jobs in mine and Christine's fields...
Plus, I think the snake market is better out there. On the East Coast I have to contend with Northeast Reptile Distributors (NERD) in NH, Outback Reptiles in VA, and several other big ones. I don't think there are that many out until you hit California.
It would be nice to find a house out there and set up the stuff I want. (Garden, rabbits, chickens...etc)
I dunno...we'll see. Pipe dreams are simply that until it happens.
There is a lot to consider too. Christine only has two remaining family members she speaks to (dad and step mom) who are in CT, and I can't leave my grandmother yet since I'm the only person who helps her at all...and it doesn't look like her house will sell any time soon...
plus my entire family minus my dad and uncle are in CT...
but at the same time...I'm going to be 30 in August and I can't sit around rotting in this shithole town, at a shit job...going insane.
I'm like a fucking mime stuck in an invisible box...gasping, running out of air...even though the walls are not real.

They're beautiful plants and you can be a caregiver for people... i.e. growing their weed... making a shit ton o money and having bad ass plants and awesome smells and extra oxygen around!
