So I bought like 60 rats today for $40 off that local dude. As a comparison, if I bought that many rats at say...Petco...even at their cheapest...it would be $318.
Fed everyone except for my male Enchi because he is shedding, and added some females to my breeders. The new cinnamon made a bloody mess of her meal...but ate it.
I also found out the dog food I use for the rats is part of the reason the rats are not breeding as well. Red 40 is in it.
So new brand is Doggy Bag from Tractor Supply. It's $15 for 40 lbs and his rats LOVE it.
I got some REALLY cool females.
He has some awesome snakes too. Some nice lesser platinums, mojaves and spotnoses...but their tubs were atrocious. He is selling a female bumblebee and I might buy it, but if I do it is living in the living room for a few months to make sure it's healthy before it goes near my snakes, that's for damn sure.
