So Christmas was half and half.

First...back story.

My dad's side of the family is pretty large, so we draw names from a hat and buy for one person. My cousin's wife's mother drew me last year. I sent her a small list. A socket tool kit, winshield wipers, and a dvd I wanted.
Now we have this "rule" where we don't spend over $30 on the person we are buying for...but no one EVER follows it. Case in point, I bought my grandma like $60-70 of stuff this Christmas.
So anyway...people are unwrapping gift after gift after gift...and I got...
A $30 walmart gift card.
That's it.

Now I am not complaining about it. I shop at Walmart all the time. The only problem I had was that for the first time...I felt kinda awkward during Christmas. Everyone is unwrapping all kinds of gifts and being all excited and I'm just sitting there...twiddling my thumbs...feeling left out.

Whatever.

So then Christine and I left there and went to my mom and stepdad's for second Christmas, which kicked ass!
I got a new coat. A Carhart...AWESOME coat. Not only is it the style I wanted, but it's a 2XL that fits me! I feel like less of a fatty.
Christine and I got a juicer, which is awesome. We're gonna juice everything now!
My brother didn't know what to give me, so he gave me $50...in singles. Haha.
We each got some other little things, all things we liked.
Second Christmas is more fun because we can be ourselves around my mom's side of the family.
My dad's side of the family is quite Christian...so...Christine and I pretty much hide our beliefs that tend to swing more towards Pagan.

I also found out that my car problems might not be as bad as I thought...and I am REALLY hoping it's not. I don't want to scrap another damn car...especially while still owing $3200 on it.

And now my apartment smells like jerky from the food dehydrator Christine bought me.
