This man is my hero. I have absolutely loved every movie I have seem that had him in it. He even made Batman and Robin worth seeing.
He just won a lifetime achievement award on the MTV Movie Awards, and it was amazing.
So apparently Justin got into a heated argument with the new landlord today, and the guy threatened to have us evicted.
Oh no...
A: I'm not on the lease. Only Corey is.
B: I PAID MY PART OF THE RENT. Corey has it dammit.
C: I plan on being out on June 30th...when the LEASE is up...so it doesn't really matter if he wants to kick us out.
I can see where this is going...and it's going to be bad. Justin can't keep his mouth shut, and the new landlord seems to have a big ego as well...
It's going to be a huge cock fight, and people who have NOTHING to do with it are going to get caught in the middle.
I fucking hate people...
See, I am a creature of routine.
I work, come home, sleep, wake up, veg for a while OR do something, then go to work...
I relax/have a good time on the weekends.
That is how I live my life. It's simple, but I like it.
When shit gets all upheaved...and chaotic...I DON'T LIKE IT. AT ALL.
I am a bear. Point blank. If I can avoid confrontation and change, I will.
Right now...the bear is on edge...
and that is NOT a good thing.
Not a good thing at all.
Luckily I have Mandy around and she calms me down.
My dad called me today. Now usually he lectures me about shit...
I mentioned getting my own place and he actually agreed with me. He was like "maybe it is about time."
I was shocked.
This is the same dad who rode my ass about getting a car since I was 16, then, when I told him I was thinking about getting one, told me it was a bad idea with gas prices so high.
He also told me he was proud of me for being on my own for so long. For a second I felt like asking who this was and what they did with my dad. Haha.
He told me he just wants to see me settle down. I was like "Yeah dad, I'm working on it..."
Haha.
He also told me something that made me laugh.
Apparently when I was born, I was born cold. I was like "Yeah, they had to put me in an incubator."
Him: "It was more of a heat lamp..."
Me: "No wonder I like snakes. I was born cold blooded. Haha"
Him: "Yeah, we didn't have any heat rocks laying around."
I found that amusing. Haha.
I've had this weird urge to read the bible lately.
I don't really understand it.
I sorta wrote God off at the age of 13...
I guess I took my teenage angst out on him...blaming him for all my problems.
Now I sort've feel like talking to him again...
if that makes sense.
But the problem is...I don't think I could be Christian. I mean...I just see so much wrong with Christianity, and I don't agree with it...
I believe God exists...
but I want to worship him my own way.
Apparently that's frowned upon by Christians.
I don't know. I'll figure it out. I always do.
It's like that line from that Kayne West song.
"I wanna talk to God but I'm afraid cuz we ain't spoke in so long."
Am I growing up?
About damn time...
-Me
It's funny though, I'm in about the same place, just graduating from college... finally...
And ready to do the "my place" thing... it's a good thing, and sometimes you just know when it's time.
Good luck!
