The new year has started off wonderfully! Everything has been going my way. I got a raise at work yesterday which was completely unexpected, especially considering the fact that I've only been there for 2 months now. I feel like I'm on top of the world. Like everything is mine for the taking. I can't remember a time where I felt so in control. I feel like I have a real grasp on what I want to do and where I want to go, which is something that's plagued me for some time now. I'm happy with who I've become as an individual.

I'm so grateful for my mother and father. They've done such an incredible job raising me. They are such loving, creative, inspiring, intelligent, individuals. Visiting them this Winter has really helped me appreciate them that much more. It's also helped me realize just how much I miss them. It's so weird being so incredibly far away from them. While I was down there I was approached with a unique proposition. My father's boss, who is a self-made millionaire sat down with me and we discussed the graphic design industry, the video game industry and the electronic entertainment industry. Afterward my father told me that he spoke very highly of me, and wanted to know when I was moving down so that he could find a job for me. This is an incredible opportunity, I have the option of starting my career, doing what I love! Although it would be incredibly hard to leave everything I know and love here in California.

I've got a lot to think about, but I'm just super excited on all of the prospects that this new year has in store for me!
