so Reunion Weekend, then end with a fireworks show evidentally. how do I know this? they launch the fire works from the soccer fields....which are right outside of my building! as in less than 100 feet away! yeesh. and since its all closed off outside my windows, it has created a nice echo chamber!

i seem to have the same caution with requesting friends... however at the same time i am also cautious in accepting friend requests from others who i havent talked to more than a few times y'know... i fell i should at least have posted a few times with said person before accepting their requests... but i dont really like requesting friends lest i have decided that i talk to them at least once or twice a week yknow... and that they comment back when i comment to them... y'know what i mean? cuz so far some of my "friends" i have on here i dont really comment on their journals and they dont to mine... and i dont want to end up having 100 friends that i dont communicate with. eh i dunno but you should check out my journal for today its about the first comment i make to ppl outside of groups.

Oh yea and you should by all means go for the goatee because if you end up not likin it its plenty easy nuff to get rid of.

I wish that singles awarness day wasn't so memorable. But it was...and also very single...tongue

What would be the ideal date for the antithesis of valentine's day??? Probably sometime in the heat of the summer...when everyone is at their "skimpiest"...you know...when it actually feels AWESOME to be single... wink

I liked Angel....cancelled
I liked Babylon-5....cancelled
I liked Farscape....cancelled (boycotted Sci Fi channel for about a year after that!)

I have been relegated to watching wrestling (mostly WWE), Food Network (Iron Chef and Good Eats) and Discovery Channel...

Shoulder Machien (Lat Pulls downs and mid-row exercise)
Bench Machine (bench, incline press)
Leg extension/leg curl machine
treadmill
elliptical machine
bike

anyone know of a good workout routine to help get in better shape to use with those? currently, I do the following:

thanks for the advice....yeah, that's all the machines I got here. they do have another gym for the athletes somewhere on campus. the place I go to is in one of the Residence Halls, right next to mine, and I have 24/7 access to it. plus people aren't usually there, so I don't have to wait for stuff!

and yea, starting pretty much from scratch. did some in Grad School, until my roommate snapped. and got discouraged when my dad talked to his doctor about doing sets of 290 for wrist curls.... eeek

but I hit a softball harder than he does! so that's what counts!

yay, all my damage billing is done for my area. 6 buildings. having 6 buildings of mostly female residents (5 of which are all female), while dramatic at times, has brought something nice. less than $3000 in total damages, or less than $10 per resident. by comparison, most schools figure $75 to $100 of damage billing per resident. nice, huh?

I also get to finalize...

well, 2 weeks down for working out. okay, so a full week now. kind of odd, but last Saturday, my body felt like crap, so I didn't work out. cleaned my apartment instead. although thinking the new computer desk didn't help too much (if you have ever tried screwing metal screws into metal pipe, it's a pain in the *ss!). on Sunday was Hunter's third...

finally got a weekend to relax. well, a day at least. tomorrow is Hunter's third birthday party. my gift to him?

a tamboreen, moraccas, triangle, wooded clapper thing, wooden block, and small cymbols.

a "band in the box"

oh my cousins are not going to like that one! heh heh heh!

as for my day of nothing, I cleaned my apartment (sigh, and yet realize...

so decided, since the kiddies are gone, why not take advantage of a small work out room by my apartment. in one of the new buildings here. elliptical, treadmill, and bike. plus a few (3) machines for lifting weights.

time to get in shape. evidence has shown girls aren't attracted to me being a nice guy. so try to see if something else works!

got lots of pictures as well. once I shrink them down (the camera takes big pictures), I might post some!

so tomorrow I go to Roberts Wesleyan College for an interview for their Masters of School Counseling Program.

I think its a good sign when they include the phrase "The interview is normally an hour long, but your might be longer as you plan things out for credit transfer".

I like the sounds of that!

and any way to get more people to read this?...
