...and the holidays are done. got some more kitchen stuff (mixing bowls, serving forks, and whisks). a soundbar for my TV (Sony Vizio), some shirts, money and gift cards, ticket to Rover's Holiday Hangover (tradition here in Rochester), 2 Minion ornaments, and some books (Wicked and Divine book 1, Saga book 5, and Phonograms: The Singles Club). now I need to get Saga book 4...

Sound bars are pretty nice.  We listen to our CDs through the TV now.  Our Christmas was OK.  Kind of more a kid's thing.  The kid's in the Navy now so we never see him.

back story so this blog makes more sense. one person I work next to is Jewish....she follows kosher laws (loosely), has a Menorah up and "Happy Hanukkah" up in her cubicle. she also has one of those magnetic sculpture toys of Menorahs and Dreidels to use. one of the other people I work with comes over and goes....

"Oh how nice....how about we make it...

almost a full month in my new apartment. my kitchen, living room and dining room are almost completely set-up...just hanging some picture on the wall. I have about 5 bins to sort through and unpack in my bedroom. 1 computer desk to bring over eventually and some clothes and memorabilia to clear out from my mom's house and I'm done. I have the Hawthorne Village...

Moving is a pain, but sounds like you are almost settled in. I know that question about being single too well. I usually answer with "because  I was waiting for you(meaning the woman I was talking to)" Then ask her what took her so long to come around. Good luck in the new place. :)

well, been a couple of weeks since I moved to my own apartment. its slowly coming along in terms of unpacking and figuring out everything. just hope I can get everything moved over by the end of the month (still got many boxes of comic books, Heroclix, Nightmare Before Christmas stuff, and even more things to move!) who knew moving could be such a pain....

My life has been awesome.  We just got back from Spain and released our first video.  (If you haven't been to Spain, you need to go.  The women are gorgeous).  Congrats on the new apartment.
aepaul:
You should.  It's full of beautiful women (oh, I've already told you that) and the food is better than here.  Well, technically, the food isn't better.  It's the ingredients are better.  If you had the same chef in both countries, that chef's food would be better in Spain.  Great for a visit, but to live, probably not so much because the unemployment rate there is brutal.

starting the job search again.....my boss got mad because I didn't talk to a dad on one of my cases for 2 months. I did send him a letter and its all on a case where I just indicated the family 2 days prior! an education neglect. kind of annoying when the school district calls in, all huffy and puffy, about why nothing is being...

so found out today I have an investigatory interview Wednesday on allegations of poor performance and judgement at my job. what does it mean when I'm thinking "hey, I get fired....I can job search for something less stressful and more fulfilling while collecting unemployment?"

just wondering....

ever get that feeling you need to clean out and get rid of some stuff you no longer use or memberships which don't mean as much to you.....yet kind of want to stick with it anyways?

just wondering!

another week down.....not as much work done as I would like. then again when time is taken away to prep for a fair hearing which gets adjourned, it bites.

still having the sporadic "Is this really a good fit?" and "Do I actually do something good?" at my job. not to mention the entire "Is this what I really want my life to be like?"...

I miss reading of your job-oriented malaise. ;)  Maybe I avoid it because I'm about to dive back in it myself?  Oh, existential angst!

so my step-father just told me the lights on the dishwasher are flashing while the door is open....my response was "kind of lends support to my idea that its broken, which I told you on Thursday, doesn't it?"

another week down....bad sign that I am usually exhausted and looking forward to the weekend on a consistent basis every Tuesday morning? I really think this is not the long-term answer for me!
