ahh, the joys of shutting down. of taking all those emotions one normally feels and locking them away.

shut downs work so much easier than dealing with being single and hating every moment of your life (to the point of hoping to die....not suicidal mind you, just wanting to die).
one of the side-effects when you go 28 years of being single, and little to no interest in you (always fun when a girl would rather complain about being single than even consider dating you!)
my rant is done now. thinking if all goes how it normally does, pretty soon I really won't care about much of anything, if I care about anything at all!
oh well....sorry to the friend that brought those emotions back. you stopped talking to me. time for me to fully shut down (and yes, this is the friend that I thought was interested in dating me over the summer.....after all, that's only what she said. now, though, she says she never wanted a relationship and never will......anyone translate that?)
