I thought a week off was supposed to be relaxing...nope!
Sunday, clipping a toe nail and I get a discharge. Yes, I saw the white pocket in the toe nail. Trip to Urgent Care and now I have a diagnosed toe nail infection. Now on an anti-biotic and soaking the toe.
Then Wednesday, driving down the Expressway when my car dashboard lights go on (Power Steering, Anti-Lock Brake System, Traction Control, Tire Pressure Sensor and the light saying my passenger side airbag is active). Bring my car in on Thursday and I need new rear wheel hubs and rear brakes (the brakes were described as "dangerous"). That's about $1600 I didn't want to spend, and hope to get my car back on Monday.
But did have a 1st birthday party family birthday party, so that was fun. Especially when the parents decided to have a Cookie Monster cake (aka, blue frosting) for the child.
But still, for a week off (where my big plans were cleaning)....yeah, way too eventful!
