so turned 40 yesterday. had breakfast with my father and dinner with my mom and step-father. dad talked about his will, his wishes for end of life (IE, donate his organs, don't have him hooked up to a machine, he wants to be cremated and does not want any sort of a religious ceremony). always a fun conversation.
as for my mom and step-father, it was more about how things are going.
and now I've decided, since most of my writing in a journal happens when things are going crappy in life, I'm going to change things up. I'm challenging myself to write everyday. wish me luck!

Good luck. When I write randomly, I really write randomly. It's a good exercise. Do the first thing that comes to your head and expand on that. As for end of life, that's something that does need to be discussed. And on a lighter note, happy belated birthday!
