so should have my car back soon. the work that is needed for my car is:
timing belt and water pump
part of the frame needs replacing
transmission work (hoping its a seal)
grand total (estimate) is $1780 for everything. about $1000 is for the transmission work (worse case scenario). best case...the transmission work is about $300 and I spend about $1000 on everything.
got a feeling my sister and her boyfriend expect me to pay for everything (despite having my car since November 3rd and some of the problems occurring while they had my car). since I have a family share plan with them for my cell phone (around $20 a month), I now believe I do not have cell phone payments for the next 2 years. my Mom agrees and plans on telling my sister this as well.
oh how fun this shall be....biggest learning experience, my sister is now on a "ban" list for borrowing anything.
