so yesterday, for the first time in 7 years, I called in sick to work. previously, I left early one day after pulling a muscle and called in twice due to funerals.
I was scheduled to work overnight, Mom talking about being sick. I go to sleep at 1:30 PM and wake up at 4:30 PM to throw up. and squirt out. hey, you were warned! call into to work saying I won't be able to make it....7 hours advanced notice. go to lay down and sleep some.
ended up throwing up a total of 7 times between the hours of 4:30 PM and midnight (mind you, didn't drink anything....so I'm sitting there going "WTF....there is nothing left!" finally, after waking up every 1/2 hour to 1 1/2 hour to throw up, I got it all out of my system and was able to sleep for a few hours straight.
so in one day, I think I doubled the amount of times I've thrown up in my life outside of the day I passed a kidney stone.
and now I'm sore as hell and my ribs feel like I got a bear hug from a Grizzly. yes, I tend to be violently sick....as a child, there was worry that I might injure myself!
