I have now determined that my family does nothing easy.
my step-father's father died today, got the phone call around 4 AM. he left to go to the Hospice care, had to pick up his brother since his nephew (brother's son) was still out at 4 AM (probably drinking). odd since bars close at 2 AM here.
I decided that while things were quiet, could take care of stuff around the house....mopped floors and such, when my Mom called to say my older sister was going into the hospital.
and now she is scheduled to get her gall bladder removed shortly....she has gall stones and the lining of her gall bladder is infected.
what more fun will come our way?

Your sister will need to watch her diet. Rich foods make khoos ill now with out her her gall bladder.
