so last night, after collecting them for years, I played in my first Heroclix tournament. the first match I was destroyed (hit one character once). made a few mistakes...the person I played against told me "Learn your powers." so I looked things over and figured out where I went wrong.
second game, I won.
third game, I just lost...and think I should have won. but forgot my powers. hence the other guy won in a long battle.
came in the middle of the pack (out of 8), so not too bad. I won't complain. about 3 1/2 hours of fun, pizza and pop (and a clix) for $5. can you complain? came home, looked over what I did and how I played, and made some notes for the next game.
biggest mistake....fielding Howard the Duck.
