woke up, my new phone is here. call the number to activate the phone...it asks for my mobile phone number. I type it in and hear "I'm sorry, I can not process that information" or something along those lines. so Best Buy's 1-800 number to activate my new phone doesn't understand my phone number. and since I worked overnight last night, I called past the hours of customer service.

so tomorrow, time to go into Best Buy and have them activate the phone. if they attempt to charge me, I get to tell them "Tell you what, call your 1-800 number to activate my phone and see what happens." let them get the error message so I can say "So you want to charge me because your system doesn't work? Try again." after that, it will be migrating all my information over from my old phone, wiping the memory and donating the phone to a worth cause.

and updated to the new Firefox recently...damn its buggy. I can have a website open, leave, come back....and without touching the computer have Firefox crash. and it happens quite often! really great product there Mozilla! with service like this...might have to go with Internet Explorer or Netscape! yeesh!

that's about it...ordered 2 books for my older sister. now its getting a gift for my dad, step-mom, older sister's non-husband husband and step-father. I'm giving my mom about $50 towards gifts for my younger sister and the thing she married (the watch I picked out for my younger sister...damn I did a good job!) and went in on the gift for my mom (an e-reader...maybe she can go through her metric shit ton of books in her room).

and that's about it....how are you doing for the holiday shopping in these wonderful times!

the watch I chose to get my younger sister....she wanted a silver band and analog watch. the stones are a pink/purple (her favorite color is purple)
