so waiting to hear back from the interview I had last week...I was told about a week to a week and a half. right now, figuring I didn't get the job. just a hunch (and how my luck runs).
applied for a different position in the department....a "higher" position, but more of a managerial position. who knows where that will go.
also applied (again) for a Chemical Dependency Counselor position at Unity Health. figure the requirements for the position is a High School diploma and I have a Masters degree in Counseling. we'll see where that goes.
really....how many of those out there (like me) that have been job searching for years now have really gotten bummed by the lack of jobs? how many times can you apply and be rejected before you finally look at yourself and wonder if there is anything out there you can get hired for? yeah, that's how I'm feeling right now.
EDIT:
I have an on-campus interview November 11th. the tough part....I have to make a 15 minute presentation to the RA staff....ideas?

I hope all goes well with the interview! Yeah, I hear drug and alcohol consumption might be a slight problem on campus, but then again, what do I know!
