well, another week down. some things I wanted to accomplish I did, some I did not. I have decided I need to clean my room up a bit....I have lost a pair of sunglasses (Spy brand, about $90) and a PDA in my room somewhere. additionally, I can not find my watch. so definitely time to start cleaning.
wanted to apply for some jobs this past week, but never did get around to doing it. odd that applying does take a good amount out of me (writing the cover letter and such)....by now I would think it would be easier.
and for Wegmans, just finished making a lightpost check-off sheet. one of the jobs of Helping Hands (aka, cart pushers, the job I started on) is to check the lights in the parking lot at night. so instead of writing things down, I got the needed notes and made a chart to use instead. laminate the damn thing and away we go!

so that's about it....how was your week? next week...34 hours of work, many morning shifts, and hopefully get my butt to applying for a few jobs. one of the would be nice.
and hopefully my sister gets around to applying as well. she's been working at the same photography company for about 15 years now...and makes less than $10,000 a year with no benefits. Friday there was a staff meeting, and the lead photographer (and owner's fourth wife) made it clear that the other 2 veteran photographers (which have less than 10 years working with the company to my knowledge) are the head photographers, listen to them only. so my sister got shot down. told her to apply to Wegmans....if she does, I'll do what I can to get her in. she will make more money working part-time at Wegmans, get benefits....and if a manager or employee is so mean or rude to her that she cries (which has happened at her current place of employment...and she is not one to cry easily), that person is going to have to justify him or herself to upper management (or risk getting fired at the most and a conversation note at the least). so we'll see.

Oh, it's a good thing you and my wife like the same TV shows. If I had more time, I'd watch them too. Except Dexter. I readily admit it's well done, just can't stomach some of the scenes. I'm a lightweight.
