so I actually have a few days off in a row. which sucks because my paycheck is going to blow. but is great because it means I can do some things that need to get done....like tune-up my engine (change the plugs and wires...how hard could a 4 cylinder engine where the plugs and wires are on top be) and balance the one ceiling fan I replaced (whoever put the box in never got it level, so the fan is not flush against the ceiling on one side). and who knows what else.
plus go through my DVD's, figure out what movies/discs I have copied over and start erasing them from my external hard drive. already reformatted my mp3 player, and changing up what I play at night at work.
so what else? not too much else. thanks for the advice from the last blog....although why would I want to change 35 years of "No" when asking a girl out? just curious. and yes, a 100% rate....don't ask me why. it just happens. but first, let me see where I'll end up in life and go from there (don't want to start a relationship and then go "Oh, I get to leave the state...want to join me, do the long-distance crap, or end this relationship?"). did the long-distance thing once....never again.
yeah, think that's about it...time to take a shower, buy some comic books and get my plugs and wires (and gapper). I figure the wires could need changing...been at least 30,000 miles, last done by the dealership, and I get a "tick tick tick" sound when starting my car. sometimes goes away....but also can be there after driving the car for 20 minutes to 1/2 hour (so the engine is all warmed up as well!). wish me luck!

i___zombie:
the ticking sound when starting your car is most likely at the starter ... check the Black and Red wire leads from your battery to the starter, and clean the contacts/connections. It's usually a sign of crap built up causing a poor connection.

OH! ... and you shouldn't need to replace the Spark Wires, ... just get an emery board, or sand paper and clean the build-up on the contacts, ... save yourself $$$ for a .50 stick of cosmetics tool
