so Chrysler/Dodge has "respectfully declined" to reimburse me for any damages caused by a product that fails every four to five years (the radiator), telling me they have everything documented, forwarded on information about the vendor saying the problem, and if true, will look at something in the future.
sooo, guess this means I will no longer be looking at Chrysler products (Dodge, Jeep, Chrysler...sucks because one of my dream cars WAS a Jeep Grand Cherokee) for my future vehicle purchases, since they designed and manufacture radiators that fail every four to five years, causing transmission fluid and radiator fluid to mix. and I would recommend anyone reading this to consider this fact about Chrysler when making your decisions about what vehicle to purchase.
oh well, it was worth a try. now I know.....should have realized this when Chrysler went crawling to the government a few years back because they were going bankrupt.

i drive a '96 explorer. as long as we keep up on normal maintenance (and don't let the hubby get hit by stupid douches in ricemobiles) it's pretty much invincible. food for thought...
