good laugh time (oddly enough...on the anniversary of my uncle's suicide)....

my one aunt (Mom's sister) just called. I'm not to mention anything to her 55 year old husband (who has worked 2 weeks in 20+ years of marriage...and lets her work her tail off to support his habits such as hunting, fishing, and drinking 100 year old bottles of scotch) about the fact that he used to be a Jets fan, now is a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. according to my aunt, he stopped being a Jets fan when Pete Carroll left in 1994 (oddly enough, I seem to remember him as a fan after that).

my response....fine, I won't start anything. but I will finish it.

and seriously....55 years old and you can't stand up for yourself? WTF is up with that?

then again, he's the same person that, when we called after my uncle's body was found (his brother-in-law) and said repeatedly on the voice mail "Pick up, we need to you talk to you!" he didn't answer because he didn't feel like it...then calls me the next day, saying he wants to know what is happening and wants to make sure they are kept in the loop. my response?
