well, tonight starts my first night of five straight overnight shifts. good paycheck. but it can suck at times!
let's see....the previous 2 overnight shifts...the first morning was a cluster fuck. one kid called in, and a slow ass cashier resulted in me running register and not getting out for 1/2 hour after my shift was supposed to end (again, fubar....where one schedule has the opening manager in at 8:30 AM, another schedule says 8:00 AM).
Tuesday, the front-end manager was about 1/2 hour late. he let someone know. but still kind of annoying. oh well, got out 40 minutes late.
and yes, I was on the clock.
so we shall see what the next five nights (and mornings) bring us.
new comic books today...and here's to another wicked bout of insomnia! Tuesday was fall asleep around 10:30 PM to wake up shortly before midnight and not fall back asleep until after 6 AM. last night, asleep around 11 PM, awake at 3 AM. well, at least 4 hours of sleep. plus, since I slept most of the day away Wednesday, I built up some sleep as well.
at least with this string of overnights, my body's sleep schedule and my work schedule will be lined up properly!
