so my subbing experience....a four block day.

first block - the kids were doing a lab for Chemistry and the TA (or would it be lab tech) was there with me. the students took the entire block, so I was unable to give them a quiz....one student in particular was very meticulous. so I had them complete the questions as well.

second block - "Advisement". think all-school study hall. so kids coming and gong.

third block - Forensics with another teacher. march the kids to the library and have them do a time line of the history of fingerprinting. oh how fun!

fourth block - a great class, very well behaved. had them do a quiz, finish their lab and then, after 1 PM, if the kids wanted to, they could go to a study hall in the cafeteria. that's how I ended the day.

walked down the attendance roster for the last class (first block was collected, second block I had a student bring down and the 3rd block was done by the teacher). turned everything in and I was done. left about 20 minutes past the time I was required to stay.

so a full day when I started about 6:45 AM and got out around 2:00 PM. not bad at all.

I worked my Opera show call, ... then loaded out a concert, ... just now got home,... about 8 hrs work combined, and two payrolls, total about $200... not bad

What was so confusing was there was visible some type of ditching at the property line running in correlation with magnetic north. Whoever put those in made the mistake. I assumed it was parallel with the property line. I caught it when I surveyed the second point.
To be sure it wasn't the first point i had to resurvey the south and west property lines leading to the stake i first used.
