my feet hurt and I'm quite a bit sore, but today, got the lot closed in about 15 minutes. not too bad, considering that 2 of the people I worked with tonight were freaking conjoined twins....honestly, I would not be surprised to find out that these 2 guys used the bathroom together (wondering who held what, though).

at one time, it was me working on the busy side and three people (the conjoined twins and one employee who is functioning Autistic, so he sticks to a routine) working the "slow side"....the front-end manager was a little nervous, but everything was taken care of!

and in other news, a few weeks back, I got a new cell phone, but the question was, what to do with my old phone. initially I was going to try and find one of those services that takes the old cell phone, refurbishes it and donates it to battered women shelters for emergency purposes. however, in getting some books in the mail today (Christmas gifts), I had an envelope for "Cell Phones for Soldiers" recycling program (http://www.cellphonesforsoldiers.com), so I'm thinking of mailing it out to this program.

anything then having it be used for profit or just sit there.

so yeah....so looking forward to Saturday and sleep. I figure if anyone bothers me, I'm throwing a knife at them (yes, I have many knives in arm's reach when I sleep).

and funny thing today....as many know, my cousin is going through a divorce (awaiting papers to be signed to be legally separated.....a process started about a year ago). today, his estranged wife had to pick up their 3 sons for Christmas (she gets them this year from 6 PM Christmas Eve to Noon Christmas Day....my cousin will probably go out to his father-in-law's place with his sons for Christmas....yes, he's going to her father's place). in picking them up, the oldest (7) told his mom that he doesn't want to leave.....whoops!
