well, my step-father's mother is being transferred to Hospice care now....the doctors figure about 2 weeks now.

is this a fourth reason to hate the month of December?

Why is December such a bad month? What continues this time, every year, year in, year out?

Well, that's the thing. I used to love reading Kurt Vonnegut, Edward Abbey, Isabelle Allende, etc. Real novels. I think I'll buy that Neil Gaiman this weekend.
