so interview for a per-diem substitute teacher position in about 10 1/2 hours..wish me luck. should I tell them that Monday and Tuesday are the 2 days a week I can't work? because of my part-time job (and a guaranteed 16 hours) instead of an inconsistent job. now, if offered a long-term sub position, then I'm taking it (more money and very consistent).
and my step-father told me today that the doctor spoke with him and his siblings regarding his mother. one of the aneurysms in her brain burst this past week, she has another aneurysm as well. she is going home soon, with 24 hour home health care (through Medicaire) for her needs (her and her husband are approaching 90). and she's been given 6 months to live.
this should be interesitng. my step-father is pretty emotionless and this may be the first person (and he's past age 60) close to him that died really. at least for a family member. he might actually come to understand what my family (mom's side) has been through, though, with all the death we've dealt with. who knows.
