so softball last night....I finally got to play in the field (instead of just being a DH).
I was put in at shortstop. oh the joys.
let's see....one line drive got by me. I caught 2 balls for outs. no errors to speak of on my part. and I am one of the few people that, say the 3rd baseman has a ball hit to him or her, I'm moving behind them for back-up.
when I first took the field, I had the "Okay, do this, do that."
"Move here, move there."
a few plays later, and the one catch later....people shut up!
yay!
then worked overnight, now time to eat quickly, then sleep, and then off to an interview at Lansing, NY. I know some stuff about the district now. so wish me luck!
