well, it seems that it takes an indirect route to access my blog....I have to open up the link in a new tab in Internet Explorer.
and I have to use Internet Explorer because of all the pop-ups in chat...including some that basically boot you out of chat.
hey, let's do another site change! why not? move away from stuff working nicely!
enough of that.
so I have heard nothing back from the job at Utica. guessing I'll get a letter next week. nice.
but I do have the interview at Lansing next week...and since they do not have a copy of my transcripts nor my letters of recommendation, this could be good. plus more jobs to apply for!
let's see...what else? our softball team still sucks. thsi past week, yeah, I was supposed to sub in for one position. ended up being a DH. got up to bat once. I walked. the next person, who claims she has played softball before.....she struck out. slow pitch. yes, she f*cking struck out!
same girl that, when I noticed her quite a bit ahead of the base, suggested she move back when playing third. she told me she knows what she's doing. she also tripped on the way to a play at third...she tripped over the dirt! joys!
and last night, chatted it up with some nice customer who came through my line. a really nice chat. she was somewhat cute. what sucks the most about everything? I'll probably never see her again! just the way my luck goes.
story time....a story I have never said before:
way back in Undergrad, I went to a conference in Oswego. met up with someone nice there. we chatted, hung out. basically met while playing pool the night before. the day of the conference. in leaving, she asked me if I would go with her to take some pictures. sure!
said our goodbyes, figure I would see her at the National Conference. on the way back, my advisor asked if I kissed her. told him no. he lectured me. what, I was young and naive. plus I don't go for the "casual stuff" really.
well, ended up chatting with her on-line, sending e-mails back and forth (this is before IM became big). had plans to meet up at the National Conference (I even had a room of my own!)
nope, she ended up not being able to go. never saw her again.
so someone I got along with great, who knows where it could have gone...only saw her once.
that's how my luck goes.
so last night, again, a nice girl, chatted up nicely. it was one of those things that if it happened socially, we would have exchanged numbers.
I'll probably never see her again.
oh well, such is life.
does any of this make sense? who knows.
time to finish my "dinner" after working overnight, brush my teeth, and get ready for sleep!
laters!

I feel that if I had one more beer, I would pass out cold and wake up sometime next week

All of them, they are writing whatever script I tell them to.
