seriously, when do we get Son's Day and Brother's Day? honestly?
so yeah, got my Mom a fitting card....on the outside, it has the quote "Sorry about all the dumb things I did...."
on the inside it says "You did keep telling me not to get smart."
it fits me.
so what else? feels really weird to be sitting here, 1:45 in the afternoon and not sleeping or hoping to sleep. for the first time in, well, almost 2 years, I have a Saturday night off. in fact, from here on out, until I hear otherwise, I will not be working the Saturday night overnight shifts....yay! I work Thursday nights and Friday nights.
see, at Wegmans, if you work on a Sunday, and are full-time, you get paid time and a half. nice, huh? so the full-time overnight person wants to work those hours. fine by me....I get paid a $1 an hour extra for working on a Sunday. and since they have me working outside, closing the lot Sunday nights, it means now I get to sleep more than 4 to 6 hours before I have to work that shift. which is nice for me!
so what is planned for today? dinner/lunch with family and five hours of pushing carts. I hope its slow tonight. I really do! last night was quite busy.....why do people do all their grocery shopping at midnight? then wonder why there are not many cashiers on? maybe because its midnight? duh!
so that's about it....car going in later this week. when I come to a stop, my car seems to "wobble" or something....not sure if the brakes are going/warped or if I need to just balance the tires (they're about due). so check the brakes out first.....its more important that way. and a place by me seems pretty good....they will explain things to me and won't BS me. and its happened with others, too! so that's good!
yeah, that's about it...how is your day going? its May....I have a frost warning for my area tonight!

It will be the brake rotors, I think you can count on that. They might be able to turn them and take out the warp, but often you need to get new ones.
As I understand, one of the leading causes of warped rotors is when the guys at the tire shop get a little too trigger happy with their air guns when the are putting your wheels off and on. tightening the wheel nuts also tourqes down on the rotors on many cars. I paid a big pile of money for fancy new rotors on my Z-car ( I had the same problem as you and they fixed the problem) and now I follow all the instructions for tightening wheels (gradually, in several increments as you nurse them up to the righ torque) whenever I swap out my snow tires etc.
If you have drums in the back, it could be them too, even if it feel's like the fronts.
I just got home from a 10 hour work day, and am drinking a lovely glass of wine... it only cost $6, but beggars can't be choosers...
