gee, how not to get hired for a job.
I got called this morning...the other person working overnights goes "It shows no one is working Sunday night on the schedule, I'll be in Florida, since you're working helping hands already, can you stay and work the shift?"
here are a few things to consider:
1. I get out Sunday morning around 8:00 to 8:30 AM....and then drive about 20 minutes to 1/2 hour to get home.
2. I'm to work helping hands at 5:30 PM to 10:30 PM. which means leaving my house around 5:00 PM. now, if I want to shower and such (not even eat), it means getting up by 4 PM. so, let's see....we're talking MAX 7 hours of sleep.....assuming I fall asleep immediately (doesn't happen) and don't eat.
3. I'm working register from 10:30 PM to 1:30 AM....and the overnight shift starts at Midnight. I'm good....but not that good!
4. the schedule that has been posted for that day for OVER A WEEK shows the other person working.
sooo, I'm guessing the other person was told she's not getting the fulll-time job. and pulls this. hmmm....let's see, if I was leaving for Florida for a weekend....yeah, I would make sure to get the time off WELL IN ADVANCED! but I guess this person did not see things that way.
second...let's see, if I have been scheduled the past few weeks (3 at least) as working Sunday night to Monday morning, as shown by the schedule....yeah, I would have figured i was working the shift.
ehh, whatever...and this girl might wonder why she did not get the job....gee, I wonder why!
so instead, I'm working overnight Sunday night into Monday morning. basically four nights straight of the ovenright shift....so it means another 4 nights of missing my peeps in chat!
oh well....now time to get my car washed and do some applications.....found out the town where my aunt lives (and my uncle was quite known when he was alive) has a High School Counseling position open.....TIME TO APPLY!!!!!
