so today, some free time, no working (and did not put my name down to be called in). I slept, am doing laundry now, and decided to finish building my computer desk.
you see, when I first got my computer desk, I got most put together. however, there are back parts that need to be nailed on. thin backing walls basically. since my step-father was asleep when I got it all put together, I did not do that last step.
now, today, he was gone for a while, so I nailed everything on. which was very interesting, since I had to move things around myself. not to mention removing everything from the desk (3 printers, 2 computers, and a whole bunch of other things).
which meant I was able to clean up everything as well and put things back in a new, better order.
so now I have a nice, clean desk and everything in a smart order. which means things like nothing in front of the one drawer that I need to move to pull it out. and running more of of the wires behind things instead of in front where they can catch and snag.
plus laundry today!
so now, I guess its time to relax some. get my finances in order. and job search.
plus chat a little tonight as well!
yay being productive! hmmm....had a feeling I was in a depression of sorts the past few days (after the last job rejection). maybe this was something I needed to do to pull me out. put things together, do something I like doing (building things). maybe!

i always manage to hammer a thumb or finger when puttig that sort of stuff together. and my dad was a maste carpenter!! never rubbed off on me.

I forgot you're a gaget freak 
I like to leave the backs of stuff like that open ... unless it adds structural integrity, but then again that's nothing a couple of well hidden 2x4s and brackets wont fix I use a big old butcher block table with a table mounted on the backside for the printer, and six drawers added ... all with a matching natural finish
