well, one of the cures for feeling tired...a lot of sleep! seriously, close to 12 hours I think. so while I feel refreshed and well rested now, my body is doing its other "rebellion". when I sleep that long, my back has a tendency to stiffen up. so now I have to move around and such until it loosens up enough that I can crack it and make it all feel better!
so what else? next week (ideally early) I should hear back from both job interviews (on whether or not I got the interview). I still have a few resumes out there (at least 2 with the job still listed...in fact, one has a school counselor job listed twice!). plus the private school I haven't applied to yet. which, if I got that job, would mean experience and a crappy paycheck. one of the problems with private schools is the fact that they seriously pay about $10,000 a year less (or more) than public schools.
so what else? bills piling up. however, things should pick up at my part-time job if I don't get a full-time job (yes, trying to be positive). however, next week, I have 24 hours only....which bites. the following week could be different, though, since the full-time overnight cashier is on vacation. plus a whole bunch of people are leaving for the new store opening. plus college kids come back, making things even busier!
now I wonder...should I expand outwards to include Res Life positions? which most are gone!
oh, and that reminds me...gotta get my car inspected as well! joys!
ADDENDUMS Saturday Aug 2:
well, got "the letter" from one of my job interviews early this week. yup, another refusal. although I'm not fully surprised.
however, since the other job was supposed to have the round of interviews on Wednesday, while this location was done on Thursday...hmmm...?
and I brought my car in for an inspection...it won't pass. my back-up lights won't work. the place tried changing my bulbs, but that didn't have any impact. so either a back-up switch (in the transmission) is bad.....or the fuse. so tomorrow, I check the fuses. and then bring it in on Monday if that is not the fix. the nice part is where I brought my car, the guy forgot to take off my sticker, so they let me go with the old sticker still on and did not charge me. told me to fix it and they will pass my car...at least some good luck!

I think you should get a quick little side job while you wait for the other. Then your car can get some back up lights.

My cousin had to move to Los Angeles for a couple years to get work experience. She is now planning to come back up to Oregon and teach here. It sucked that she left, but I think it was a good choice.
