so I found a new favorite website here. it is too true in so many ways.
what else is new? I was scheduled for only 24 hours this week. I am now up to about 32 hours. I got called in today and I picked up a shift on Wednesday. not too bad, if I do say so myself.
the job hunt is still progressing...slowly. so far I have put out 6 resumes. 2 more to come by the end of the week. a few applications. all that fun stuff. seriously, I'm going to start expanding and hope I can get moving costs paid for (basically renting a moving truck and apartment costs). I would like to stay in this area (make moving costs that much cheaper), but a job is a job.
I think that's about it. trimmed the rose bushes today. and some of the shrubbery up front of the house.
and my new favorite quote from a customer:
Customer: Brrr...its cold in this store, especially by the freezers.
Me: Yeah, the freezers tend to make things cold.
it totally went over the customer's head!
