case in point, we put in a new storm door in my house. problem was, the latch part of the door (where the storm door latches to the door frame) was pushing and cutting into the door handle.
so I just installed a new door handle, different style. and since we also have a garage door, had to buy a new door handle for that, too.
go from Defiant brand door locks to Schlage brand door locks, too.
was going to get one of those key pad door locks, but I didn't think it would fit under the dead bolt!
so that and four new keys (mine, step-father's, mother's, and sister's....got the mom and the sister keys with an LED light built in, so they can push the side of the key and have a light to find the door lock!)
