well, my ears are still ringing and my back is still in pain (from the tattoo), but I just got home from seeing Lennon live in Buffalo! trust me, it was a great show and worth it!
I now have all three of her CD's signed personalized to me, as well as her 2 DVD's and her one CD/DVD combination. also got a t-shirt personalized to me, and pictures (that will follow). and the show itself was great!
even better, though, is meeting her. very friendly, down to earth, overall a very nice person to talk with! she thanked us (Cereal_Killer and others) for coming to the show and everything! hell, first time I was thanked a few times by someone for coming to a kick ass show! but I'lll take it! oh, and C_K and others that I met there and let me hang out with you, thanks! it does mean a lot to me!
as for Lennon herself, what can I say? she came, she saw, she kicked serious butt live! lots of energy, great songs, awesome working of the crowd! after the show, stuff for sale (hey, where else can you buy a CD that's not even in stores yet and a t-shirt for $20, and then get it signed for free?).
so yeah, when she comes to town (or a town near you), I say it worth the gas money and the ticket price to go! just bring some extra cash for the merchandise. where else can you get stuff signed for free? plus, hey, bring a camera, she'll take a picture with you no problem!
so yeah, that's my Friday night.....it helped me relax and smile! so those of you in the states who might be able to see Lennon live, I would highly recommend it! her new album (Damaged Goods) comes out September 19th in stores! go to her website, listen to some of her music, and you can decide if you want to buy it! I know I am! even though I already have it (got it today...signed to me and everything!)

i wish you all the best in your chosen field and i know you are going to be excellent at it.
i'm sure you know by now that the tattoo pain doesn't last long, it was the itchiness that lasted longer. can't wait to see pics of the beginning of it.
