well, got my registration done for my car (on-line) today. considering that the registration expired May 28, not doing too bad, huh? 
and tomorrow I pay my insurance.
oh being broke bites.
in other news, today I started up with model building again. the only problem I currently see (excluding affording the paints) is how to deal with the fumes from the air brushing I use. it stinks! time to find an air filter or something! "fume boxes" are costly, and I don't have the materials, know-how, or money to make one....
and yes, I use an air brush. mix up the paint in a container, mix it up (a great thing to use for mixing the paint and thinner are brass bb's) and paint away. it provides a great look, I highly recommend this over using a brush for anyone building models.
so what do I have on my "bench" now?
the following:
(from Star Trek):
3 Deep Space 9 space stations (fiber optic model, have to work on the wiring diagrams for lighting the model. one I'm doing with an overall flat black color scheme, the other is going to be dark metallic colors, like Anthracite Grey Metallic and Graphite)
1 Deep Space 9 space station that is NOT fiber optic
2 Defiant ships (one I'm totally changing the color scheme of!)
1 Enterprise E (from First Contact)
1 Voyager
1 Maquis Ship
(from Babylon-5):
1 Star Fury
1 Star Fury limited model (I get to choose one out of 7 choices!)
(real planes, all are American Planes):
F-15 Eagle
2 SR-71 Blackbirds (1 partially done)
Blue Angels plane (I'm thinking of painting it with metallic colors instead of the "normal" colors.....going to be tough, but should look cool!)
1 F-117A Stealth Fighter
hmm, think that's about it.
its my "Zen" thing....I can go for hours (and have) without realizing it! its great!
what about you, what's your "Zen" thing?

Yeah, an air filter seems like a good idea.Or in my case; a gas mask.
i'm glad you are enjoying making them though, he does find it very relaxing, so i hope you do.

oh god, i made the mistake of showing him your journal and he wants to know what sort of blue angels plane. *sighs* sorry.
