so I started this freaking paper I have to do. its kind of sad when the entire class is having troubles, and the professor seems to not notice it. oh end of the year evaluations are going to be fun (if she does them).
my step-father has yet to pick up on some simple concepts. my older sister had some cake left over from her birthday party. my mom told him specifically that the three pieces were for people she works with. he ate all three pieces. he'll probably say something like "I didn't know who they belonged to" or "it was just one piece." in his eyes, an entire pie not cut up is one piece, but a pie cut into 10 pieces are 10 pieces. you would think he would have developed past this by now.
he also likes to park in the driveway. normally not a problem. however, when he leaves for work at midnight, and the driveway has room for 2 cars, it creates a problem. here are the cars we have:
his station wagon with 125,000 miles
my mom's Buick Centurty with about 85,000 miles and photographers equipment
my Neon with 34,000 miles.
out of those four cars, which would you park in the street? especially when he leaves at midnight.
his view will be to wake someone up to move cars so he can go to work. I think it would be more intelligent for him to park in the road.

I'm going to be plugging away at this paper, so wish me luck!
and now, a House-isms. a quote from the TV show House. this is from an episode title "three stories". when asked about life after death visions, his reply was his belief in that these visions are chemical reactions to the brain shutting down. one of his doctors asked him if he found it comforting to think this was it. his reply:
"I find it more comforting to believe that this isn't simply a test."

my bad....I have this paper! so I didn't read over what I typed....there are only three cars here now.
as for failing, highly doubt it. professor could always "curve" the grade. or create a lecture.
plus its grad school...need a B or higher to pass!
