well, the temperature where I live went from 60 degrees F to about 20 degrees F in a day. yup, a 40 degree drop! yay for upstate New York!

outside of that, slowly healing up. my knee is feeling better. so is my neck and shoulders. however, now I have an infection in my ear (I think). I have a cartilege piercing, have had it...

ash67:
Yeah. I know. I just really don't want to leave this area, ya know? I've got friends that are like family and a whole lot of stuff that I've worked really hard for and it would be like just throwing that away.

Its lame. All else fails, I know I can borrow money from my dad first and then possibly have to move in with him. I hate that too, but yeah.

wow, I've been on a blogging spree as of late.

so what is there to say? right now, I have a serious knot in my one shoulder and my one knee (same side) is swollen (when compared to the other knee). yeah, I guess I'm falling apart.

however, in better news, my sleep schedule seems to be returning to some sembelance of normalcy. meaning I...

last week, I woke up with a neck that would hurt if I turned it too far one way or another. which is never good. I'm working on getting my neck back to where it should be.

my one knee today started to hurt. and I have some wicked knots in my shoulder now!

yay me!

so in other...

so today, got to talk to a co-worker I have not seen in a long time. really sweet and pleasant girl. the nice part is the fact that she is also a long-term substitute teacher in the Greece Central School District, the district I live in (and graduated from).

also, she teaches at Greece Athena (notice a theme with the High School names? Athena, Arcadia,...

well, not a whole lot to say. keeping track of everything going on with the economy and such, its kind of interesting. hoping to hear good news regarding my deferement. basically my student loan payment would take up about 90% of my current income. not good. its one of the things that really sucks about working part time only.....no consistent paycheck!

so what else? I'm...

It's good to hear you're expanding your job search.

The local school systems are cutting budgets so much that I would never even consider sending our daughter to a public school frown

Leaving the area can be a brand new start as well smile

I dont go to the cinema much either. I just prefer to watch most things in t he comfort of my own home.

There are things like friendships the suck. And they do play a big part, so I understand what you mean.

so my car is all fixed. the dealer said that the rear wheel cylandir is fine. oh well....I'll keep an eye on it. so far, though, so good. plus, Monro told me is was just starting, to keep an eye on things.

the lower control arm bushings were replaced (again...this is the third time). cost to me so far....nothing!

yay warranties!

so on other notes...I...

How have you been?
jermhawk:
Damn I was hoping you would have a job by now. That sucks, I havn't been watching the paper lately. But will start again as much as I can. Its been a ruff winter up here on the hill. Soon it will be over! Whats the hub-bub about the Toronto gala this year?

ever wake up in one of those moods where, well, you just weren't happy? I did this morning. might be because of only 8 hours of sleep (give or take), although I highly doubt it. don't know, just not feeling happy right now.

so what else is new? a while back I do believe I referred to a co-worker who has pics of herself topless...

Good luck at the dealer ship. I have to go out later and do a tune up on my car. And one of these days I need to do my front end too. Most the bushings are shot. I just dont have the cash rite now to do it.

so I survived that infernal holiday that happens on February 14th every year.

33 years and counting of Single Awareness Day.

for the few that know my dating history, all my relationships have lasted no more than 8 months. and all have started post-February 14th...and all have ended pre-Thanksgiving. so I have been single my entire life during "The Couple's Season" of Thanksgiving through V-Day....

well, I've gone blog crazy!

so I brought my car into Monro Muffler today for a brake system flush. I am liking this place more and more.

while I was there, one lady brought her car in....she needs new rotors, brakes, and something else. big time costs.

the guy, in quoting the price to her, adds the line "Giving you a $240 discount...."

not sure...

so today, well, my body I guess decided to have fun with me. I went to sleep last night around, oh, say 11:45 PM. the intention was to sleep until 5:45 AM, get up and shower and work today (8 hours pushing carts). figure that the movement and such will keep me awake.

well, my body decided to insure I was awake on time, by...

Do you alternate between pushing and pulling the carts to work different muscle groups biggrin

You need to apply any kind of moisterizer once you dry off after taking a shower. I have bad dry sking due to my condition ... and that's what my dermatologist directs me to do smile It works great smile

I know how to balance your states budget ... make everyone on wellfare work on infrastructure projects for 1/2 of minimum wage biggrin
miss_cellophane:
Its good your feeling a little more normal despite the crazy schedule.

After 28 days its just another day. I know its sometimes had to celebrate the past year and the next year to come, but whats the point in going about it any other way? kiss
