Dammit. I'm never gonna understand flirting. GUH. I never know when....I should say "if" a girl is flirting with me. I'm so screwed when it comes to reading signals that I basically just assume that any girl that is nice to me must either have an ulterior motive OR she is nice because she is in customer service and she HAS to be nice, and I believe that I am right in most cases.
Earlier today I was getting my taxes done and I was chatting with the cute accountant girl and it seemed to go beyond the casual small talk. She was very nice, all smiles. Since she does have access to my tax records,
she does know how much I made last year and she knows that I'm unemployed and yet she continued to ask me how I'm spending my downtime. This gave me an excuse to bring up my burgeoning art career and mention a few of the projects I am currently working on. It seemed very natural but how the hell do I know if there was flirting involved, ARRGH oh well. I guess I'll never know.
