Didn't get much typed at prep period subbing today though.
I only got like 300 words and feel like a slacker.
Really want to crack 20,000 at some point.
I subbed for the theater/communications teacher today ... the Theater 1 kids had to do a basic scene with someone and couldn't even pull that off with respect.
Thanks for the well wishes kind sir! Muchly appreciated! I've been working on my myofascial structure to great benefit thus far, but health is a ways off still.
Filene's is a good company to work for. I worked there for 6 1/2 yrs. before I moved to Hawaii. Be careful of the takeover though. That's the only reason I'm at Macy's right now instead of back at Filene's.
Me too. I always max out every year. It's nice to have leagues where you at least semi-know people instead of the public ones. But I don't mind kick some complete strangers ass.
Here is an excerpt from my book for National Novel Writing Month... No Filter ... Just to warn you its quite naughty ... I am up to 8,500 words in 3 days.

I found it exhilarating, frustrating, and altogether spiritually rewarding. My boyfriend at the time hated me, but I thought it was worth it, and it WAS.
BABYBELLICOSE tagged me so here are 20 facts on me...

I saw a mind-blowing documentary on the DVD today.
"The Corporation" is in some ways a tough film to watch.... But it is one that is very worth seeing and in my mind more important and frightening then Fahrenheit 9-11 .. ****1/2
What I remember of Germany was great, but I was a wee little thing, so the things I remember are very kid-like memories. I remember taking a trip to Berlin in an orange VW bug. I remember going to England to see Buckingham Palace. Actually, I remember a lot about the castles we visited.
Mostly, I remember going to the konditerei every Sunday afternoon and getting chocolate eggs, or cakes or these hazelnut cookies that I loved.
I haven't been back yet, but I would love to go.
How sad is it that I am thrilled that Rutgers beat Syracuse 31-9 today to be 4-2 overall (2-1 Big East) ...
And that my SG Fantasy Football team (Westbrook Eagles) is 5-0
About the Rutgers game... Rutgers has traditionally been one of the WORST football programs in all of Division I-A... the Temple Owls traditionally kept Rutgers from going winless in the Big East... Read More
Its nice that my wife is starting a full-time job next week.
One thing weird about subbing is it actaully kinda sucks when there is a 4-day weekend.
I could really use the hours ....
Retail is still weird but went to be on-call (can call for hours) .. that way can avoid the two shifts I have until 11 PM next week.... Does any... Read More
Although it was cold and cloudy (in the 50s and 60s all day) I had a lot of fun ... Allagash and Bar Harbor Brewing make excellent beers...

Fine Art.......we didn't have to declare specific majors, so I never specialized. I did everything except painting, esp drawing, video, & photography. And yes, much cheaper than NYU! My Cooper friends & I used to make fun of the NYU students & their fancy tuition!
I'm planning on starting on a Master's at The New School next spring - media studies. I love making art, but the art biz is corrupting IMO.
Btw, I used to spend a lot of time in central NJ......Cream Ridge, specifically. But I got kicked off the commune!
Do? I dunno! I kinda don't have to work, so I would like to be a freelance smart person.......like Maureen Dowd, except with media analysis. If I had to get a job, well, I'd like Ted Turner's!
Also sometimes the homefront is more dangerous then war, the oil fires are also just unbelievable cinematography ...
