working on a new painting for once. i went on ebay and looked at what sold most and it was pretty much in line with what i want to do, so i said to myself, SELF!... i want some fuckin money.
the only problem is when i make something i like enough to sell, i like it too much to sell...

I have that problem with my paintings/ work too. I'd like to get a great portfolio together and I know I have it in me but 1) I procrastinate 2) I give shit away like it's nobody's business 3) I work to hard on things to sell them for what they are worth so my rate per hour on a painting will be like $0.05. But all that is just bullshit excuses - so you should definitely sell your work on ebay if you can.
