never thought you'd be a color like this
as you swung back and forth on the bars
and you looked down at the ground and
it was brown and it was below the stars
and i smiled at the prism and i thought
you exploded inside of my self and you
in your red green violent savage blue
your periwinkle fantasy your earthly brown
you knew what i wanted. you knew
and now the dirt and grit kind of gets me down
as i get down into it. and i wonder
if this is what i always was meant for.
and i wonder. and the stars move above
and the green glove flits under my dress
in fits of some kind of epileptic suicide dream
and your nightly makeover magazine
was left on the press
and the streams of red burrow through
the deepest of things. and the birds fly
just a little too low. and i'm thinking
maybe
just maybe
i wasn't ready yet to go.

you didn't tell me you were reading Island by Aldous Huxley??? that's a quasi-anarchist book, i'll have you know. i've been meaning to read it for ages. although i think they all get killed in the end, or something.
can you give me a summary??
I doubt I'll be on SG, so take care, but leave me nice comments
