Today was good. My folks and I went out shopping and I picked up fruit bars (3 whole servings per bar! look at me, i'm a healthy kitty!), chewy bars and some other snackies for school. They're so yummy.
I finally bought a new battery for my digicam today. Photos will follow +o)
Speaking of photos, this is my lifelong friend Jesse and I when he came over to tell us he was engaged. Our mothers lived on opposite sides of the street and would make us wave to each other in our front windows when we were 6 months old. We've been buddies ever since. His fiance is one lucky lady. Jess is amazingly classy. Every so often we'd go out to the top restaurant and be treated like royalty. I love that, nice little change from the every day. Plus, it gives me a reason to doll up and what girl doesn't like that?
While out today I wandered through the shoe department - normally not a big deal but today it was a baaad mistake! I saw 3 pair that I want with all my heart and soul. Perfect for summer with their bamboo this and strappy that.
Must remember my budget!

I walked into a store one day to get a pair of running and shoes, and wouldn't you know it, there was a two for one sale of discontinued and slightly flawed shoes. I spent about an hour rummaging, and then another two hours pulling my hair out about which gems to get from the ones I had found. I finally wound up getting four of the five. As I was taking the shoes to the check-out, a girl gave me the most astonished look.
That's quite a friend you have in Jesse, what with going to fancy restaurants.. Quite a cool and uncommon thing for guy friends to do. Lucky you to have such a friend.
