It's been a long time since I jotted something here. Actually, it's been a long time since I jotted something anywhere. I've been going through one of those bland phases where everything's the same ol' same ol' and nothing's exciting. So, really I haven't had much to share.
Today was exciting, though! My parents and I took a drive down to the states and played around Lynden and Bellingham. We pawed around all the consignment and thrift shops - it was so fun. I found a really cute pink and orange hawaiian shirt, a brand new yelow zippered hoodie, a kitty mug and a pair of guess jeans. I'll be selling the jeans on ebay soon - $20, and they look brand new!
We also sat down and watched Passion of the Christ. I thought it was fantastic, although I was hoping for more at the end.
Sunday morning we're going to Richmond to have brinch with my Grandmother and my Aunt. Then on Tuesday my Dad has to go to Tampa, Florida for some training and then on to Bogata, Columbia for business. I'm wondering how Tampa made it through the hurricane, and if Dad's actually going to be able to meet with the people he's supposed to or not. I hope all goes well.
I found a place that gives swing lessons in my town. Sunday night at 8 - I'll be there with bells on! I'll let you all know how it went after I return. I'm looking forward to it. I hope it can end up as a weekly outting for me. If it's anything close to what I'm hoping, it'll be something I'll look forward to each week. +o)
