I gave blood today. I'm working towards the presigious 'gold card' which you get when you donate four times in a year. Two down, two to go!
Dad and I went to the SPCA today. They were having a bottle drive and I wanted to see if I could take their can tabs for the Kidney Foundation - every 1000 gives someone a free dialysis session. Another lady had been there earlier in the day and had taken them for the same reason, so that's good. As long as it's going towards the same goal, it's all good. We pet the kitties and went home after that.
Did anyone see Animal Precinct on Friday night? One of the dogs featured had neurological damage which made his hind legs wobbly - he was so cute! I wanted him badly. If I were in NY I would've went down to the ASPCA and brought him home +o)

and Easter candy is EVIL! I was reading the nutritional info on a package of Peeps, and one serving (5 peeps) has 40 grams of carbs...that's like a whole day's worth of carbs for an Atkins zombie. Ick!
