A while ago I was in a store where I heard a familiar tune on the radio... Due to the fact it was way too noisy in that store and I'm turning a little bit deaf after years of rock & roll... I did not hear who the artist was.
This weekend I was at my parents place, same song on the radio... but still to much jibbejabbe inbetween... but I was able to memorize some phrases.
After googl'ing it turned out to be Fleetwood Mac's "You make loving Fun".. at last!
A few years ago I was hiking through Thailand on my own, and on the Sunset Beach (Haad Rin Nai) on the island KoPhaNgan I was staying in a little beach-bungalow for about 2 weeks... Very chill... very nice... And in the evenings when I had some food there, it was happy hour. So you could get 2 cold Chang beers for the price of 1... They always played the same CD's in that venue; but one of the songs when I watched the sun set over the sea, felt the breeze, and enjoyed my beer... well, that was Fleetwood Mac's "You make loving fun"...
Curious how some tunes can take you on warpspeed through memory lange!
Furthermore no real news. Missed out on the Monkey3 gig last week because I wanted to go to a psychedelic party in a forest nearby, turned out that I didn't find the correct place... Bummer!
The local government approved our request for renovating the little house... Tomorrow evening the contractor will pass by to gives his new price, and if we agree... i hope they can start their works at the end of June.
We're also lucky that we can stay in a loft / appartment during the works. At my girlfriend's work they have an empy appartment with toilet, kitchen, desks,... Normally they're going to use it as a part of the office, but it's still not finished, so we can stay there during 1 or 2 monthes.
I also sold my bass-amp... the thing was weighing 74 kilo's only for the cabinet... I was tired of breaking my back on that one. Ordered a new one... Kustom DE300 HD is on it's way, together with a 15" cab. In the future I'll buy a 2x10" cab of that series too... Looks like this:

I'm so tired, Ididn't work today... I have a lot of pictures to edit, so it's done now, I'm going to do a little blog update, take a shower, and wait for my love...
