Alright, time to rant about annoying Employees.

I do have to point out, in the case of us employer types. here's our situation. We can either maintain a full staff where

A)everybody gets the hours they would like

or

B)keeping the employee's starved for hours, so that they ALMOST have what they need, but are at their very minimum for making rent and food

We...

And in other news, I have a confession to make. I spent my first paycheque at Chapters buying books, EVEN THOUGH I knew you worked at Indigo. I know...I suck.. frown

I didn't have enough to spend for the Brothers Grimm Complete Fairy Tales, and Edgar Allan Poe's Complete Short Stories...so perhaps you could give me a discount when I make my adventure over to Indigo to get them after I get paid on Monday?

Psst... Hi back. smile

Alright I'm thinking of buying this scooter...anybody have any opinions or suggestion for a leery new rider? What will I need to do, for getting this thing onto the road?

Do I need to buy my helmets first? How about insurance, anybody make a good suggestion for company?

Do I even need to insure this?

What about license plates?
manchester_black:
you do need to insure it, but only for the months you'd be driving it (spring through fall most likely) Normally you can get everything all at the same time, probably best to have a helmet first cause you need one of those to ride legal. Vespa's are the most popular style, they got a dealership for em downtown like a block from churchill square... as for insurance, I could talk with one of my friends who works for Dryden about what would be decent rates for one of those, but Ive heard all together when you figure insurance and the monthly cost, you can get it as low as a hundred bucks a month.

Scooter. Not a real motorcycle. But closer than I've got, I guess. Definitely get a helmet first - you can't test drive anything without a helmet. Personally, I'd try to avoid getting one that made me look like Darth Vader.

Alright of our last 6 book monkeys

1 of which was Suicide Girl (and it's not Aoede)
didn't come back for the call back

1 lived too far out of town

1 didn't know "it would require so much thinking, and working hard"

leaving me with 3. We just hired 3 more. But we still need to hire about 3 more.

So, if you want...

I can't remember how tall you are, but if you are under 6 ft, I recommend a yamaha vino, JoyfulDemise has one, I have ridden it a lot and I think it's great, but a bit cramped for me.

If you have lots of dough (like 5 or 6 grand) get an aprilia scarabao, or a vespa et2, both of which are true cadillac scooters.

Under no circumstances buy a Honda jazz or metropolitan, as they are complete shitpiles.

If I didnt live in the possibly farthest edmonton and area place from the Indigo store, I might take you up on that

Sounds like Canada Day all over again. How many people did you clean out this time?

Now my biggest question is of course, what to wear next time... hMnn...

Alright, after a crazy Saturday which involved me wearing and then subsequently losing my civil war hat, I spent the next day playing cards and hanging out with some friends of mine. What a very crazy night. I don't think I'll tell you all the details as of yet, but they were wacky.

Highlights: being offered a job running the entertainment for a nightclub i...

Were you at least wearing scary shoes? Falling down in public is somewhat more forgivable if you can blame your footwear. At least if you're a girl. I don't know if this works for guys.

Activities. I'm going to come visit you at Indigo someday.
